wish it would have worked outJan 30, 2010
I wish it would have worked out. The piece is quite beautiful. Sadly, after going to Murano this past summer, I know all authentic Murano glass has a stamp in the back of the glass, not just a piece of paper which could easily be duplicated. This was supposed to be a replacement for a piece that sadly broke which was purchased from Murano. The ONLY way to spot a fake is to ask to see the back and look for the stamp in the glass. To my surprise, this is rather hard to find when not in/around Venice's.
Seller made refund for returned item. I am thankful for that.
