I am disappointed that I received this pendant as substitution for the one I ordered, which is now listed as unavailable through Amazon. I understand that the jewelry is handmade and anticipated a slight variation in coloring from what was pictured, but I ordered the GREEN version and received an item IDENTICAL to the picture for the BROWN variety. This is a SIGNIFICANT variation. I was not informed of the substitution, nor was this reflected on the packing slip, which incorrectly lists the item as "Murano Glass Pendant-Rose Purple/Gold." Also, I am disappointed in the "gift box," as it is clearly intended for earrings and not suitable for a necklace and I will have to replace it for gift presentation. I was also hoping for some sort of certificate of authenticity as is offered with many of the company's other products; but maybe this one isn't authentic.
The necklace I received is nice enough, I suppose. I'd have few complaints if I hadn't purchased it as a gift. It's difficult to tell from the picture that the pendant is not a spherical bead, but a squashed disc. Otherwise it's as pictured--brownish-gray and hanging from a gray suede lace. The chain extension seems lighter than I had hoped and is fastened with a lobster clasp. I haven't decided whether I can still give this to its intended recipient, but I do know it's not worth the money for an exchange.
